I am honored and delighted to serve as Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Heathland Whitefriars Federation.

The Board of Trustees is made up of a group of talented, committed and dedicated individuals who share a passion for supporting our schools and the communities they serve. Working closely with our Headteachers, Senior Leadership Teams, teaching and support staff, we seek to provide strong leadership, encouragement and challenge, always with the best interest of our pupils at the heart of what we do.

As a Multi-Academy Trust, our role is to provide strategic directions, ensuring that the decisions we make help our schools to grow, develop and thrive. We are committed to creating an environment in which every pupil has the opportunity to achieve their potential, feel valued and develop the confidence and skill they need for the future.

Our work is underpinned by a shared vision of integrity, collaboration, ambition and inclusion. I believe that strong schools are built through strong relationships, and I value the contribution of everyone within our Trust- our pupils, families, staff and wider community.

As chair, I want to reassure our school communities that the Board is here to listen, to support and to provide thoughtful and effective oversight. We recognize the important role that our schools play within their communities, and we are committed to working together to ensure that they remain welcoming, ambitious and nurturing places in which children and adults can flourish.

I am excited about the future of Heathland Whitefriars Federation and proud of be part of a Trust that places our pupils and our communities at the heart of everything we do.
