We are looking for a caring, energetic and committed EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team at Heathland School. This is a wonderful opportunity to work in a nurturing environment where children are at the heart of everything we do.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework.

• Assist with planning, setting up, and managing a range of fun, educational activities.

• Support children’s social, emotional, and physical development.

• Observe and record children’s progress, sharing information with teachers and parents as needed.

• Create a warm, safe and stimulating environment for all pupils.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting.

• Understands the EYFS curriculum and child development.

• Is caring, positive, and patient with a good sense of humour!

• Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Holds a relevant childcare qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent).
