Harrow Council scale G10, Points 37 – 41: £33,649- £37,087 actual, depending on experience

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Finance Manager for a key role at Heathland School.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong financial and technical experience to join our fantastic team.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, this key position is responsible for running the finance function of one of our schools including day to day effective financial management of the academy and trust’s financial functions to ensure that all services provided to support teaching and learning are of high quality, conform to legislation and represent value for money.

As well as having the appropriate finance, budget management and accounting experience, the ideal candidate will have excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills and be a strong team player. They will also be flexible, self-motivated, able to use their own initiative and have excellent time management and problem-solving skills. A recognised finance or accounts qualification is desirable although qualification by experience is equally acceptable. Previous Academy experience and a strong background in PSF Financials preferred
