We are looking for creative, positive and committed teachers to join our vibrant team
The Heathland Whitefriars Federation is a multi-academy trust comprising of Heathland and Whitefriars Schools in Harrow. Heathland School is a 3-11 primary school judged to be outstanding by Ofsted 2010 and 2014. It is a UNICEF accredited level 2 Rights Respecting School as well as being nationally accredited as a ‘Thinking School’ and an ‘Eco School’. Its performance is in the top 1.5% of schools nationally.
Our Federation of two schools is underpinned by a Values based ethos that helps everyone work together cooperatively and with mutual respect. We promote harmony through dialogue and reflection. From the early years to the secondary stages of education we offer an active curriculum that is designed to engage and excite all our pupils. We take an individualised ‘next steps’ approach on the journey to master of English, reading and mathematics skills. Our pupils make rapid progress in an environment of care where expectations are high, values are positive, forgiveness is abundant and children are treasured. We absolutely believe that anyone can learn anything and the growth mind set underpins everything we do.
We are looking to recruit brilliant EYFS, Key Stage 1 and 2 classroom teachers, who, as well as sharing our values-based ethos, can create a dynamic classroom culture where pupils’ positivity engages them actively in the process of learning and enables them to explore what learning is. We welcome applications from NQT’s as well as experienced teachers.
