We are looking for a creative, positive and committed teacher to join our vibrant team!

Heathland Whitefriars Federation is a multi-academy trust comprising of Heathland and Whitefriars Schools in Harrow. Heathland School is a 3-11 primary school judged to be outstanding by Ofsted 2010 and 2014.

Our Federation of two schools is underpinned by a Values based ethos that helps everyone work together cooperatively and with mutual respect. We promote harmony through dialogue and reflection. From the early years to the secondary stages of education we offer an active curriculum that is designed to engage and excite all our pupils. We take an individualised ‘next steps’ approach on the journey to master of English, reading and mathematics skills.  Our pupils make rapid progress in an environment of care where expectations are high, values are positive, forgiveness is abundant and children are treasured. We absolutely believe that anyone can learn anything and the growth mind set underpins everything we do.

We are looking to recruit an experienced KS1/KS2 classroom teacher, with 2-4 years’ experience, to work with additional groups from Year 1 to Year 6. The teacher will provide additional group support in English and Maths for Year 6 pupils during the morning and in the afternoon will work with groups across KS1 and KS2. We are looking to recruit someone who, as well as sharing our values-based ethos, can create a dynamic classroom culture where pupils’ positivity engages them actively in the process of learning and enables them to explore what learning is and make excellent progress as a result.
