School Cleaner

Heathland School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed cleaner to join our busy school cleaning team.

We are looking for a team player who would assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment for the school. This role involves regular cleaning duties including washing, sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning toilets, replenishing goods, emptying of litter bins and dusting and polishing of designated areas including fixtures and fittings and inner glass. This role also includes regular deep cleaning duties on a rotational basis to maintain standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the School.

Cleaning duties will be required to cover Monday to Friday at the following times:

15 hours per week – 11am to 2pm – term time only contract

Fixed term contract until 31/08/2024

The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to have an Enhanced D.B.S. clearance and two satisfactory references will also be a condition of employment. An online/social media check will also be undertaken before interview in line with KCSiE 2023.
